From Farmers to Suppliers: The HIT Social Postobón Journey
At Postobón, we believe that a strong supply chain begins in the field. That is why, nearly three decades ago, we launched HIT Social, a program designed to support farmer associations by strengthening their production, organizational, and commercial capabilities, enabling them to become competitive and sustainable suppliers.
Rather than simply purchasing raw materials, we build long-term relationships founded on trust and shared growth. Through technical assistance, ongoing support, and the creation of commercial opportunities, we help drive the development of rural communities while ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality fruit for our HIT and Tutti Frutti beverage brands.
A Model That Transforms Rural Colombia
Today, 1,765 farming families across 11 departments in Colombia are part of this initiative, supplying blackberries, mangoes, and lulos for our product portfolio. Through this model, we also contribute to the creation of 4,117 rural jobs, strengthening local economies and fostering sustainable, long-term opportunities for rural communities.
Building Relationships That Last
HIT Social demonstrates that when we invest in the people who make our value chain possible, everyone benefits. Farmers strengthen their capabilities, their associations grow, and we reinforce a more sustainable, resilient, and locally connected supply chain.
We will continue investing in this model because we are convinced that true development is built through partnerships with the people who cultivate Colombia's future from the ground up.
